March Marlins secured an impressive third place finish at the Peterborough Mini Gala.
Competing against five other teams, the 20 Marlins, all under 11s, came away with 23 personal bests, one club record, four firsts, five seconds and three thirds.
For the girls Gracie Webb achieved a personal best (PB) in backstroke and freestyle, Saule Majauskis a PB in butterfly, Charlotte Shaw a PB and first place in breaststroke, Aimee Cross a PB in backstroke and breaststroke and Olivia Tunley a PB and second in butterfly, with a PB and third in freestyle.
Millie Pearce claimed a club record, PB and second in freestyle, with a PB and first in backstroke.
Rosetta Schauenburg-Kent got a PB in breaststroke and third in butterfly. Ciara Mason a PB in breaststroke and butterfly and also a second place. Sophie Tunley swam in breaststroke just missing her PB. Molly McGowen was second in freestyle.
For the boys Jeremy Courten got a PB in backstroke, Harry Dawson a PB in freestyle. Luke Cumbridge a PB and first in breaststroke and also PB and third in butterfly. Hayden Courten got a PB and third in freestyle.
Gabriel Gritsenko got a PB and first in backstroke, Aiden Gray a third in breaststroke, Jack Dawson a PB in breaststroke, Rokas Borusas got a PB in butterfly, Louis Beningfield was third in freestyle and Daniel Bradshaw got a PB in backstroke.
Final results: COPS Yellow 196 pts, First Strokes 142pts, St Ives 138pts, March 132pts, COPS Blue 129pts and Chatteris 78pts
