The Peterborough Under 7s Mini Soccer Conference league is set to kick off its 20th season next month.

The league, opening on Saturday, September 29, is aimed at players looking to break into football for the first time.

During the league, players will split into teams and play a variety of matches every two weeks in a “safe and relaxed atmosphere” and on the nights they choose.

On the opening day at the Embankment Synthetic pitch in Peterborough the games will begin with a 9.30am kick off.

A spokesman said: “The new intake will possibly be following some of their parent’s footsteps who may have themselves played in the league.

“The matches are ideal for players looking for their first taste of football.

“Each team will play a variety of matches each morning in a safe and relaxed atmosphere and can play on the weeks they choose.”
