Two former players are also welcomed back into the fold at March Town Cricket Club to boost the 1st XI’s prospects for the up-and-coming Whitings League Division 1 campaign.
Hard-hitting Shardul Brahmbhatt, who scored runs in the title winning side of 2007, returns after a four year absence.
His last big club was Burwell, where he averaged over 41 runs in the East Anglian Premier League. He also has three five wicket hauls to his name with his off-spin when last appearing at The Avenue.
He is joined by opening seam bowler Callum Young, who is now back in the area and available for selection. He too has a top pedigree with two seven wicket hauls to his name in Saturday cricket, including one against Wisbech in 2013.
March begin their league season with the visit of Waresley on Saturday, April 14, where their overseas player for the season, Saranga Rajaguru, is also due to make his debut.
