Shane Balding beat three-time world champion Andy Lucas to win the £500 first prize in the Wisbech Singles Eight Ball Pool League finals, on Sunday.
The event at the Supercue Club, Wisbech, attracted 32 of the best pool players in the area and the day culminated in an exciting final, in which Balding defeated last year's winner 7-6.
- The Cherry Automatics March and District Pool League will be holding a committee meeting next Friday, March 9.
It will take place at the Snooker Club and start at 8pm.
