Rookies regional netball squad produced a turbo-charged end of the season - they finished their campaign with seven straight wins.
Overall, the team won 10 out of their 16 matches, finishing fourth in Division Two of the East Regional League. They missed out on promotion by an agonising three points.
Rookies have been invited to join the new Cambridgeshire Elite League this summer where they will aim to continue their ever improving match play in the hope of gaining promotion into Division One of the regional league this winter.
Player of the match awards this season were awarded to Carmen Hannibal Stewart (8), Heidi Milton (6), Brigitte McCormack (1) and Lucy Penney (1).
