TWO girls football teams from the same club had to put friendship to one side on Sunday as they clashed in a vital league encounter.
Estover Park Under-14s thumped their younger under-13 counterparts 7-0 to remain fourth in the Under-14s Girls Fenland League. Zoe Birch was the hat-trick hero for her side with Emma Searle, Sydney Davis and player of the match Meg Rooney also notching.
The under-13s battled valiantly throughout but their woe was compounded when they scored an own goal to complete the rout.
