THE home side broke the deadlock with a penalty but Bears fought back with a try from Jamie Browlie.

Dave Crooke went close to scoring a second try for Bears but he was denied by a knock-on, and Huntingdon took advantage to touch down twice and open up a healthy half-time lead.

The home side were always in control in the second half despite the Bears scoring through Stuart Vincent, Todd Wollard and Dave Crooke.

Ryan Fox kicked a conversion to make the final score 45-22.

Tomorrow, March II entertains Wisbech II and the first team travel to Leicester.

Training is on Wednesday evenings from 7pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
