Deeping 44 March Bears 0THE home side began the stronger and their heavier pack was able to push the Bears back towards their own try line.Deeping's domination led to two converted tries within the opening 20 minutes and with the wind at their backs, the home side went on to score two more contentious tries. With a change round in the forwards, March began to fight back. With Chris Litchfield and Paul Galloway winning the ball from line outs, the visitors were the better side in the final 15 minutes of the half. However, the Bears were unable to score and Deeping capitalised in the second half to score two more tries in the opening minutes.Again, the Bears fought back and were unfortunate not to score. Jamie Kerse made some great breaks through the Deeping defence but with the loss of Roger Spendelow to a yellow card, March struggled and the home side scored two more tries in the dying minutes.- TRAINING for all March players takes place from 7pm on Wednesday at the Elm Road sports field.
