MARCH Town United Reserves thrashed Elsworth Sports 6-0 to win the Cambs Junior Challenge Cup last night.
The Hares second-string exploded into life after the break at Histon’s Glassworld Stadium scoring six times to record a thumping cup final victory.
Lee White found the net four times in another virtuoso display as Phil White’s side ran riot against an Elsworth side who simply imploded against the rampant Hares.
Sean White also got in on the riot act adding his name to the scoresheet with the other goal being officially credited to Tom Browne - despite his cross being turned home by a Sports defender.
The cup-winning Hares will show off their trophy at the GER on Saturday before facing Somersham Town Reserves in a Cambs BIS 1B league clash.
