Cambs Short Mat Bowls Club held their annual county fours competition at the Manea British Legion on Sunday.
A good day's bowling came to a climax with a closely fought final that came down to the very last end.
Two shots down and with one wood remaining, Joanne Clements bowled a running wood and moved the jack to win by one shot.
The final result was Joanne Clements, Stan and Phyllis Jeffreys and Margaret Paul-Clark (pictured) with eight points, June and Claud Parish, Sheila and John Page with seven points.
