Two siblings starred as March Town 1sts continued their unbeaten start to the new East Men’s League season with a high-scoring success last Saturday.

Brothers Ryan and Ben Wright both hit hat-tricks in the 8-1 drubbing of bottom side Ely City 1sts in Division Three North-West.

David Hodson and Cameron Williams were the other players to find the net as March produced a sizzling performance in miserable conditions.

March travel to Lincolnshire this Saturday to take on early pacesetters Horncastle 1sts – a team who have won all three matches so far.

March have picked up two victories to sandwich a draw at Cambridge City Vets.

March Town 2nds were held to a 2-2 draw by Wellingborough 1sts in Division Five North-West last weekend. They visit Cambridge City 6ths this Saturday.

March Town Ladies suffered a third successive East Women’s League loss when they were thumped 6-0 by Huntingdon 1sts in Division Three North-West last Saturday. They also travel to Horncastle 1sts in their next outing this weekend.
