FOOTBALLERS in March are being given the chance to enjoy a different type of January sale - as the area’s five-a-side league prepares to kick-off a new season.
A special offer means the the Leisure Leagues are free to enter for all teams, for a limited period only.
All games in the league, which takes place at Neale Wade Community Centre, are refereed by qualified officials.
Teams compete for a prize package including state-of-the-art trophies, champagne, and free entry to the national six-a-side tournament, to be held next June.
All profits from the league are donated to charities including Cancer Research, the Dogs Trust and the National Blind Children’s Society.
