WISBECH Town endured a frustrating afternoon as they were held to a goalless draw by Stanway Rovers.
Neither side were able to hit their straps in a scrappy game.
The Fenmen remain in second in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division, ahead of Brantham Athletic on goal difference but with a game in hand.
Steve Appleby’s side will be back in action tomorrow night in a crucial league game with Mildenhall at the Elgood’s Stadium.
