LONG Sutton I are awaiting the decision of a league management meeting following the abandonment of their match at West Herts II, on Saturday.
Sutton were leading 3-2 with three minutes remaining when the match was called off for bad light.
A Ben Smith goal 10 minutes from time appeared to have sealed the win for the visitors but they will now have to hope that the result will be allowed to stand.
The home side opened the scoring after just 20 seconds but Sutton hit back with sustained pressure, which resulted in Mark Bryan and Ben Smith goals either side of the break.
West Herts broke to equalise but Smith's late strike had looked to be the decisive one.
A superb performance from Long Sutton II gave them a 2-1 victory over the previously-unbeaten Cambridge City IV.

Sutton broke the deadlock from a clever short corner routine, finished by Ed Sly, before Nathan Skeeles produced a sweet strike to put the home side 2-0 up at the break.
The visitors piled on the pressure in the second half and Sutton keeper James Cliff responded with some fine saves.
City pulled back a goal from a controversial penalty stroke but resolute defending from the likes of Tom Baggly and Nathan Guest kept out the visitors.
Long Sutton III climbed up a place in Division Five North West after they earned a vital point at St Ives IV on Saturday.
The visitors dominated from the start but fell behind to a scrambled goal in the first half. However, Sutton continued to push forward and were rewarded with an equaliser from Daniel Booth.
Saints were more of a threat in the second half and the visitors held onto a point thanks to a fine penalty stroke save from Luke Lovegrove.
The ladies first team were left to wonder how they had not scored in their home match against Louth.
Sutton bombarded the visitors' goal but desperate defending and fine saves kept them out and the game ended 0-0.
