A very young Chatteris Kingfishers junior team travelled to Boston again for the second round of the Junior Fenland League and all battled hard against strong opposition. The team came away with one first place, one second place and four third places as well as 14 personal best times.Matthijs Nooteboom, 9, was the only winner on the night, finishing in first place in the under-10 50m freestyle in a personal best time.The only second place was achieved by Luke Oliver in his under-11 50m freestyle.Third places came from Chloe Kernutt in under-12 100m individual medley (pb), Matthew Halmshaw in under-10 50m breaststroke (pb), Kirsty Slyfield in under-11 50m butterfly (pb) and the brand new under-nine mixed freestyle relay team of Georgia Harrison, Tatiana Allpress, Jack Wilson and James Austin.The final standings were Grantham 153 points, Deepings 140, Boston B 118, Kings Lynn 97 and Chatteris 51.
