Swimming stars bag medals as March Marlins impress at open water meet

YOUNG swimmers from March Marlins powered their way to success at the ASA East Region Open Water meet on Sunday.

Katie McGowen led the way for March at Whitlingham Lake, near Norwich, with all swimmers taking on the 800m event.

The young star claimed gold in the 11-12 girls event while Marc Johnson took silver for the 13-14 boys category. Emily Morris claimed bronze in the 15-16 girls while Kahra Cottam also put in a brave swim.
