Swing when you’re winning: March Golf Club ladies lift Grace Norman Trophy

MARCH Golf Club ladies rolled back the years to get their hands on the Grace Norman Trophy for the first time in almost a decade.

The experienced side lifted the trophy for the second time in their history after a stunning 2&1 victory over Gog Magog ladies at Lakeside Lodge Golf Club.

Glenis Jones and Anna Robertson recorded a 4&3 win in the top match, before Gog Magog levelled the clash at 1-1.

Sarah Oldham and Penny Gilbert held their nerve in the decider, claiming a 2&1 victory after winning the 14th and 15th holes.

March had earlier seen off St Neots Golf Club in the semi-final of the Inter-Club Foursomes Knockout event.
