FENLAND’S finest table tennis talent was on display at Neale-Wade Community College on Sunday during the March and District Table Tennis Championship.

Around 40 senior and junior players competed in the event with Steve Mason beating last year’s winner John Blyth to pick up the men’s single title. Alison Edge retained her ladies’ singles title by defeating Val Kelly.

Callum Brown was crowned under-18s boys’ singles and doubles champion after teaming up with Liam Irlam to defeat the pair of Ryan Ringer-Duffy and John Palmer Junior. It capped a heartbreaking day for Ringer-Duffy who also lost to Brown in the singles final.
