Athletics: Three Counties RC father-and-son enjoy Ely Festive 5k

The father-and-son Three Counties RC pairing of Elliot and Melvin Green took part in the Ely Festive 5k at the weekend.
Elliot, who is returning from injury, finished in a great time of 32 minutes 17 seconds, with dad Melvin not far behind in 33.37.
Eight TCRC members were in a field of 28 at the latest 2k junior parkrun, with Hayden Hall first home in 9.47.
William Durkin (10.22), Stephanie Harbord (11.34) and Issac Western (12.03) were next home, as Kallum Hall (12.36) set a new best ahead of Rio Drake (13.13), Joseph Durkin (17.32) and Laurence Durkin (22.12).
Meanwhile, Emily Clarke clocked 25.45 at the latest March parkrun to finish ahead of clubmate Donna Johnson (30.38), while Colin Apps came home in 29.19 at Kings Lynn.
