HONOURS were shared in Saturday's friendly match between the Wisbech and March Rugby Clubs' second teams.

As expected, the Fenland derby proved to be hugely competitive and tempers often flared but in the end both teams had to be content with the 7-7 final score.

Hard hits came in from both defences, who stood firm and thwarted the majority of attacks.
