Former Wisbech Grammar School pupil Ali Price has been drafted into the Scotland squad ahead of their autumn international clash with Australia this weekend.
The 23-year-old scrum-half, who hails from King’s Lynn, will take his place on the bench for Saturday’s tie.
Ali left Wisbech Grammar School in 2011 and signed for Bedford Blues, where he was part of the Saracens Storm ‘A’ League set-up.
He then signed for Glasgow Warriors in April this year after graduating from the Scottish Rugby Academy system in December 2015. He has made seven appearances for the Warriors so far.
Phil Webb, director of sport at Wisbech Grammar School, said: “We’re delighted for Ali and wish him every success for the future.”
