Three Counties Running Club’s Colin Simpson returned from his triathlon heroics to turn in an impressive time at the Worthing Park Run last weekend.

Simpson, accompanied by fellow member, Sue George, ran the 5km course in a new course personal best time of 21 minutes and 54 seconds. George also beat her course personal best with a time of 27 minutes and 22 seconds.

Colin Apps was also out breaking personal records by turning in a time of 22 minutes and 39 seconds at the Gorelston Cliffs Park Run, while Justeene Hammond (40:28) was also in Park Run action in King’s Lynn.

Sunday saw Lauren Murrell and Lucie Broomfield participate in the Vitality British 10K London Run, with both ladies completing the iconic city route in speedy times of 59 minutes and 59 seconds (PB) and one hour and three seconds (PB) respectively.
