Elisabeth Sennit-Clough was the only club member running at Heckington in the 10 mile race on a rather warm and sunny day.

The race which is now in its 53rd year is part of the Heckington show. It is a multi terrain event with the start and finish at the show ground. Elisabeth completed the event in a cracking time of 1:14:08.

On a very damp and windy Sunday morning, 13 club members travelled to Littleport to race the 10k event.

This was a multi terrain course which bragged a fast and mostly flat running surface with one gentle climb at the halfway point.

There was fantastic effort from all club members with some runners managing some great PB’s.

First club runner home in 22nd position was junior runner Morgan Harrison. Morgan ran this event last year in a great time but managed to knock nearly 10 minutes off that to finish in a fantastic time of 39:49 getting his long overdue sub 40.

Next to cross the line for the club was Phil Newton also with a PB of 46:10 followed by Mark Mattless in 48:10.

First female runner home for the club was newbie runner to TCRC Michelle Brown in a cracking time of 49:50, Matt Hunter 50:57PB, Tracey Else 52:33, Teresa Rodrigues 53:17, Vicki Drake 53:46PB, Vicki Newton 54:23PB, Sharntelle Arlington 55:15, Sarah Lamb 1:04:26, Anne-Marie Mattless 1:04:47 And Steve Arlington 1:04:51.

Junior Parkrun had 37 runners, just a few short of normal, but with the rain and school holidays it wasn’t surprising.

First club runner home was Maisie Macdonald in 9:42 finishing in 4th position overall, 2nd in age and 2nd female. Next club runner home was Casey Grange claiming 3rd in age and 3rd female in a great time of 11:20 followed by Imogen Agger 13:42, Emily Salter 14:54 and Stephanie Harbord 15:11.
