MOTORSPORT ace Jake Giddings has vowed to return even stronger next year after he produced the race of his life at the Air Asia Clio Cup Championship.
The 17-year-old, from Upwell, finished eighth in the first race at Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit - but it was in the rain-sodden second contest where he showed off his skills.
Giddings found himself second-last in the 24-car field after a disastrous start but an audacious display of driving on the slippery surface saw him battle back to finish 10th.
“Hopefully I can return next season and be a championship contender,” said Giddings. “I am already looking forward to it!”
Giddings thanked his team, Finesse Motor Sport, and all of his sponsors.
