TALENTED seven-year-old Emma Elam has vaulted her way to success against some of the best young gymnasts in the country.
The youngster, who trains at Fenland Gymnastics Academy, in Wisbech, took bronze with a score of 12.4 in the National Alpha Factor Open.
Elam was pre-selected for the Cambridgeshire county squad earlier this year, after a series of impressive performances.
Head Coach Stewart Harrison said “Emma works extremely hard in the gym and this has shown in her recent competitions.
“The hard work is now paying off with a spot in the county team and we all look forward to success in the future.”
