Ten-man Wisbech Town produced an impressive performance to beat Northampton Sileby Rangers 4-1 in the United Counties League at the Elgood’s Fenland Stadium on Saturday.
Kieron Doherty put the Fenmen in front on 20 minutes but Lee Thompson soon levelled.
Wisbech looked in trouble when Doherty was sent off on 44 minutes but second half goals from Callum Reed, Stuart Cobb and Matt Lunn saw them pick up the three points.
Wisbech host Moulton Harrox in a friendly tomorrow ahead of Saturday’s massive FA Vase quarter-final encounter at Sholing.
