IN-FORM Wisbech Town kept up their 100 per cent start to the season on Saturday with a comfortable FA Cup win over Halstead Town.
Steve Appleby’s Fenmen won their third game in a row to book a mouth-watering derby with March Town United in the next round of the world’s most famous cup competition.
Goals from Ollie Gale, Chris Bacon, Liam Nimmo and Sam Murphy secured the convincing FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round victory over first division Halstead.
The Fenmen make the short journey to fierce rivals March in the FA Cup Preliminary Round on September 3.
However, Wisbech’s attention quickly returns to the Ridgeons Premier Division on Wednesday as they travel to Newmarket Town before facing the long trek to FC Clacton on Saturday.
