PROMOTION-CHASING Wisbech Town went fourth in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division after a vital 3-1 victory at high-flying Walsham-le-Willows.
The Fenmen, who have won their last three league games, now sit five points behind leaders Dereham Town with a game in hand.
Midfielder Adam Millson took his season goal-scoring tally into double figures when he put Wisbech ahead in the 25th minute on Wednesday.
However, his opener was cancelled out five minutes later when Walsham equalised with a header from a corner.
The Fenmen’s victory came courtesy of two second-half goals from the penalty spot. In-form striker Chris Bacon converted both spot-kicks to take his league tally to 13 from 20 games.
