Christine Wadlow was the star of the show at the County Indoor Finals at Wisbech Indoor Bowls Club on Saturday.

Wadlow won four titles and was denied the chance at a fifth because her opponent was injured, with the final re-arranged for a later date.

The day saw a host of gripping, competitive matches where the result could have gone either way.

County winners will represent North Cambs in the National EBF/EWBF indoor finals at Newark from April 22-26.

A North Cambs Bowls spokesman said: “Thanks to Wisbech Indoor Bowls Club for allowing the indoor competition qualifying rounds at the club and the county finals and Umpires for giving their time over the weekend.”
