MARCH Town United’s poor recent run continued as they shipped seven goals against midtable Whitton United.
The Hares made the worst possible start, conceding a goal within two minutes, but they equalised through Ash Brand.
That was as good as it would get for March as the floodgates opened and Stanway wreaked havoc.
The Hares, who sit 13th in Thurlow Nunn League Division One, will hope to bounce back when they make the tricky trip to promotion contenders Cambridge University Press on Saturday.
