WISBECH Town carried on their serene pre-season progress with two comfortable wins over Fenland rivals.
They beat Whittlesey Town 5-1 at home on Friday and claimed a 5-1 victory at Leverington Sports yesterday.
New signing Tom James continued his excellent start since joining the Fenmen with two goals against Whittlesey, including a spectacular 25-yard curling effort into the top corner.
Paul Cousins, Chris Bacon and debutant Shane Green, a midfielder who has graduated from the under-18 side, also found the net.
Wisbech fell behind against Leverington through a strike from former player Nathan Watson.
But they responded emphatically with five goals.
Matt Lunn scored the first before Wisbech put the result beyond doubt with three goals in 10 minutes early in the second half.
