WISBECH got their pre-season off to the best possible start with victory at the City of Peterborough Hockey Club sevens tournament.
They came second in the group after a narrow 4-3 loss to City of Peterborough but qualified for the semi-finals, where they beat Bourne Deeping.
In the final against Cambridge, Brad Apted’s double sealed a 2-0 win.
The club’s mixed team also brought home, remaining unbeaten throughout the day before beating Peterborough in the final on flicks.
