Wisbech Town left it late to secure a 1-1 draw by Desborough Town in their mid-table clash on Saturday.
The Fenmen fell behind in the 58th minute, but striker Matt Sparrow responded in the final minute of the match to snatch a point for Brett Whaley’s men.
Whaley tweeted following the game, saying “Deserved a point today, but in our current position a point wasn’t enough. Tough spell at the minute and a real test of our characters.”
Wisbech host bottom of the league side Huntingdon Town tomorrow night.
