WISBECH Town were dislodged from the top of the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division after being held to a 0-0 draw at Norwich United.
Mildenhall Town’s 2-1 victory over Woodbridge Town saw them leapfrog the Fenmen, who failed to break down a stubborn Norwich side on Saturday.
Alex Street was largely untroubled in the Wisbech goal but Steve Appleby’s side could not find the finish to take advantage of their domination.
It was the first time this season that Wisbech had failed to score in a league game.
The Fenmen host Newmarket Town - the only unbeaten side in the Thurlow Nunn First Division - in the first round of the Red Insure (League) Cup tomorrow night.
