THE World Association of Wrestling returns to March on September 25 with an all action high octane card of British professional wrestling.

The event, at the Neale-Wade Sports Centre, will be headlined by a World Championship Challenge match which has been sanctioned to take place away from WAW’s major arena venues following the company’s first ever visit to March earlier this year.

The best wrestlers from the current British scene will deliver a spectacular mix of rugged technical wrestling and high flying manoeuvres having been trained by veterans of the World of Sport era.

The Championship match sees Roy ‘Zebra Kid’ Bevis defend his belt against Polish giant Gorgan. Bevis, widely renowned as Europe’s finest wrestling technician, has held the title since defeating Erik Isaksen in April 2009.

The main featured ladies’ contest will be a tag-team clash between The Sweet Saraya who is teaming up with Sassy Stephie to face Britani and Amazon.

The Sweet Saraya, known as ‘The First Lady of British Wrestling’ is a 20-year veteran of the sport and has been British Champion on 12 occasions.

Her feud with Britani has raged across halls around the country this summer and its sure to be an explosive match.

There is also a number of other matches on the all-star card which begins at 7.30pm.

Tickets will be available at the door on the night but can be booked in advance by calling 01603 506333 or 07866403936.
