It was one-way football from then on, and another goal from Parrish, two from David Haslegrave, and Scott Tinnion, Zac Ransome, and Sam Stockbridge, all found the net before the break.

Scott Tinnion led the goal spree in the second half with a further three goals, Parrish added another two and Daniel Woods got on the score sheet.

MICHAEL Rutterford opened the scoring for March when he pounced on a fumble by the keeper and passed the ball into the unguarded net.

Good fortune gave March their second when a shot from Tyler Carter took a deflection and looped into the Chatteris net and then Carter intercepted a goal kick and passed the ball into the empty net to make it 3-0.

Ellis Fulcher scored two in quick succession, before Carter and Sam Lilley completed the scoring.

Liam Saunders was March's man of the match.

THE home side battled hard against a good Leverington team, and both defences were on top in a goalless first half.

After the break, solid work in defence from Sindle, Hunns, and Grieco, saw March's confidence grow, and man-of-the-match Blanchflower, and Nabarro both went close to opening the scoring.

Substitute Bulbrook finally broke the deadlock, and Holmes-Darby pounced to score a second.

THIS match proved to be a closely fought one but it was March who held a 2-1 advantage at half time thanks to a brace from Georgia Thorpe.

March keeper Imogen James produced several good saves to maintain the home side's lead.

However, Stamford eventually equalised, and although March created chances, the visitors scored again to take to lead.

HUNGATE controlled this game from start to finish, and got off to a flying start.

This allowed Hungate to switch players around and rest several team members.

Kieran Higgs and Reece Patterson had great games, but the man-of- the-match award went to Thomas Coleman, who played his best game of the season so far.

Goal scorers for Hungate were Harry Baldry (6), Reece Patterson (5), Kieran Higgs (2), Ben Garner and Jake Gowler .

Hungate Green U11 girls 0 Coates Crusaders U11 2

GREENS were unlucky not to score in this close game and were denied a goal on numerous occasions.

Crusaders broke the deadlock midway through the second half and then went on to seal the victory with a second goal.

Player-of-the-match for Greens was Dominique Coleman for great work in midfield.

THE game started at a high tempo and there was good defensive work from Danny Gooch and Adam Bunton.

Jordan Mckenna made some crucial interceptions and man of the match Thomas Spittlehouse was outstanding in midfield.

However, Downham opened the scoring with a fortunate goal before scoring twice in the second half to seal the victory.
