STUDENTS at Cromwell Community College, Chatteris, will take its comedy production to the stage for the final time this evening.
Twenty-five young actors will perform Amphibious Spangulatos, a fast moving modern ‘farce’ written by Paul Doust for the National Youth Theatre in the early 1990s.
The story revolves around Cherry Hellingsworth, who is fulfilling her community service stint by working at a village hall as the functions manager. But she’s not terribly good at it.
Students have been rehearsing for several weeks, before the show’s first performance yesterday.
Tickets for today’s show are £1.50 for children and £3 for adults. They are available from the school’s finance department on 01354 692193.
