ALED Jones’ much anticipated performance in Ely Cathedral this autumn has been rescheduled to take place next year, due to Aled’s new television role as the male host of ITV Daybreak.
Aled - who was due to perform at Ely on October 8 as part of a national cathedral tour, said this week: “‘I’m very sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused to all those who have already bought tickets and made arrangements to attend the October concerts.
“It is not possible for me to take the time out from Daybreak for this tour so soon after I start. I will, however, be able to do so in April and May next year, and I look forward to touring these prestigious venues in the spring.”
The new date for the Ely concert is Tuesday April 16, and original tickets remain valid
