MIDNIGHT Communion on Christmas Eve will be the first service to take place in the re-opened All Saints Church, Elm, following a two-month refurbishment.
A new meeting room has been created in part of the south aisle of the 13th century church, with a new kitchen and toilets installed in the vestry area.
The first service at the re-opened church is Midnight Communion on Christmas Eve, starting at 11.30am.
The works were funded by the Elm Church Hall Charity. Treasurer Rupert Wilkes said: “This has been a complex project carried out in a Grade I listed building.
“We are very grateful to all of our contractors, who have worked extremely hard to achieve a pre-Christmas completion.”
