Legendary musician Vladimir Ashkenazy will conduct the award-winning Philharmonia Orchestra at Cambridge Corn Exchange next week.
The latest concert in the 2015/16 Cambridge Classical Concert Series, the programme opens with Rachmaninov’s spritely fantasia The Rock and concludes with Rachmaninov’s elegant and vivacious Symphony No. 3.
For the centrepiece of the evening, soloist Esther Yoo will perform Sibelius’ Violin Concerto.
The concert takes place on Wednesday March 2 from 7.30pm.
