Final preparations are underway for two shows that will run side-by-side at the East of England Showground on March 29-30.
And we have teamed up with the organiser to offer our readers a FREE ticket to enter the event.
Aztec Events’ Robin Hood Game & Country Show and All About Gardening Show will provide entertainment for all the family.
So whether you’re a serious game enthusiast, looking for something to entertain the family or a place to celebrate Mother’s Day, the showground in Peterborough will have it all.
The main arena will feature Robin Hood and his Merry Men in displays of stunt riding and jousting by the leading Stampede Stunt Display Team, while the Countryside Arena will host ferret racing, gundog scurry displays and Viking battles.
Other activities include field archery and shooting, as well as entertaining and educational displays.
The All About Garden Show will feature a treasure trove of the finest trees, shrubs, flowers and pot plants for green-fingered enthusiasts to explore.
Talks and demonstrations by a fertile mix gardening experts, botanists and landscape designers will provide inspiration to transform your garden no matter what you’re chosen personal haven.
On Mother’s Day (March 30) celebrity gardener Charlie Dimmock will be on hand offering advice on choosing and installing water features.
The stands in the shopping villages and indoor shopping marquees will offer a fantastic chance to see all the latest product launches and an array of useful gardening tools and gadgets, plants and stunning homewares, crafts and gifts at special event prices.
Food and drink courts will be filled with the aromas of cheeses, sausages, fine wines, pickles, chutneys and more with many stallholders tempting visitors with ‘try before you buy’ nibbles.
The event runs from 10am-5pm both days. Entry is £10 for adults (£7.50 in advance), £8 for concessions (£7 in advance), £5 for children aged five to 16 (£2 in advance) and free for under-5s. Dogs are also welcome.
Advance tickets can be purchased at www.aztecevents.co.uk
