A host of entertainment is coming to Peterborough’s Cresset in April from comedy to live music and dancing.
First on the calendar is Buddy Holly - A legend Reborn on Friday 4.
The UK’s number one Buddy, Marc Robinson, arrives with the show that revives classic hits like Peggy Sue, That’ll be the Day and Oh Boy.
Backed by a band reminiscent of the Crickets in their Fifties heyday, the show is an authentic slice of rock ’n’ roll nostalgia that ensures
Buddy’s incredible legacy of unforgettable hit songs lives on.

On Tuesday April 8 The Fureys and Dave Arthur play their mix of popular Irish music and song.
The band was formed in 1978 and have just released a new CD Songs Through The Years.
The Fureys & Davey Arthur are responsible for some of the most stirring music to capture the public imagination and their folk based music has received standing ovations in some of the biggest concert halls of the world.

The Illegal Eagles appear on Thursday April 10.
The band has been thrilling audiences nationwide for more than 17 years and following a number of critically acclaimed UK & European Tours have established themselves as the ultimate tribute to The Eagles.
The classic line-up of founding members Phil Aldridge, Keith Atack, Al Vosper and Darin Murphy are now joined with Garreth Hicklin & Greg Webb.

Showaddywaddy appear on Fri April 11 having recently celebrated their 40th anniversary!.
Formed in the 1970s in Leicester from several local bands, they have sold more than 20 million records and have toured the world.

The stars of Strictly Come Dancing come to the Cresset on Saturday April 12 with an evening with Pasha Kovalev & Katya Virshillas who were two of the talented professional dancers on the hit BBC TV show Strictly Come Dancing.
This spectacular live production will feature them along with their four guest dancers, all beautifully costumed, demonstrating a series of stunning dance routines, accompanied by a full audio-visual backdrop and light show, the ever enjoyable Q & A section plus an appearance by a local dance school.
The show will also feature the opportunity for the audience to get involved and dance on-stage with the stars making this the ultimate show for any Strictly fan.

The Wizard of Oz is on at the Cresset on Tuesday April 15 and includes soap and pop Stars for a fun-filled family favourite which has been turned into a Pantomime-feast for all.
Starring S Club 7’s Tina Barrett and Eastenders’ Lucy Beale Melissa Suffield, the show follows a hugely successful summer season run through 2013 in Blackpool.
Join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion on their adventure to see the Wizard of Oz for their dreams to be fulfilled.

Magic - A Kind of Queen comes to the Cresset on Friday April 25.
The band is the first tribute act to Queen adn will be performing all of Queen’s greatest hits plus some you may not have heard for a while, in their latest show for 2014.

On Friday April 25 the Cresset holds its popular comedyy club with Adam Crow, Pierre Hollins, Tony Burgess and Dan Evans.
Another quality night of comedy in an up close and personal environment with super cool delivery and heavyweight punchlines from headliner Adam
Crow. Untroubled by political correctness, he can have anaudience giggling with understanding and eating out of the palm of his hand one minute and
then gaping open-mouthed with shock at the harshness of what he has said the next.
Support comes from Pierre Hollings, the guitar wielding comic who delivers cutting gags, and Tony Burgess, with his Men Behaving Badly style confessions. Cresset regular Dan Evans is this month’s compere. Tickets cost £13 in advance.
Motown and Philadelphia on Tour will be appearing on Sunday April 27 with a First World Problems show.
The hits and memories keep on coming as Multi-award winning Roy G.Hemmings and his 15 strong cast of performers deliver memoires of a twin era
