The show on Sunday August 3 covers a wide range of activities, from cookery & preserves, through vegetables & fruit, flower & floral, art and handicrafts to quilting, eggs and honey with categories for every age.

There will also be a seed swap, so you can bring along your unused seeds - it doesn’t matter if they are old and out of date, someone might be able to persuade them to germinate - they don’t have to be shop bought, if you have collected seeds from your garden or greenhouse, just pop them in a paper bag, label them up and bring them along.

Local businesses Mill Hill Garage, the Golden Lion at Stonea and Skylark have all contributed some cracking prizes for the draw, but you’ve got to be there to buy the tickets on the day.

Entries for the show will be accepted on the evening of Saturday August 2, between 6pm and 7pm and also between 9am and 11am on the morning of Sunday August 3.
