Chatteris Community Cinema is offering a double bill of films on Saturday.

The day kicks off at 3pm with Despicable Me 2, with doors opening at the Kind Edward Centre at 2.30pm.

This all-new comedy adventure features the return of super-villain Gru (Steve Carell), his adorable girls, the unpredictably hilarious Minions...and a host of new and outrageously funny characters.

Despicable Me 2 is an entertaining sequel which offers plenty of laughs and heartfelt moments.

Doors open 7pm for the 7.30pm showing of The Great Gatsby.

Baz Luhrmann writes, directs and produces this adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan. Set in the 1920s, the story follows aspiring writer Nick Carraway (Maguire) as he moves to New York and becomes intrigued by his neighbour Jay Gatsby (DiCaprio)’s lavish lifestyle and mysterious past.

As Nick finds himself caught up in the world of the wealthy, he witnesses romantic entanglement and betrayal. Gatsby’s true nature is slowly exposed and his involvement with old flame Daisy Buchanan (Mulligan) ultimately leads to tragedy.
