Entries needed for Wisbech Has Talent competition at the Oasis Centre

THE Oasis Centre is holding its annual Wisbech has Talent competition next month - and it’s free to enter.

Last year’s event at the Wisbech centre was cancelled because of a lack of entries, but centre manager Chris Stevens said: “We hope this year can go ahead because it is good old fashioned holiday fun. Just what everyone needs at the moment.”

Entry is open to anyone aged 16 or under, with a judging panel to choose the winner.

Mrs Stevens said: “We can guarantee some fun during the afternoon. It isn’t like Britain’s Got Talent, the judges will not be making comments on your perform in front of everyone.”

Everyone who enters will receive a prize - and there will be larger prizes for first, second and third places.

The event takes place on Friday August 19. Doors open at 1pm for a 1.30pm start and entry to watch the acts is free.
