An exhibition marking the centenary of the First World War is open in Wisbech until next Tuesday.
The Cambridgeshire County Council-run project Hidden Stories is at Wisbech & Fenland Museum.
It highlights some of the less well-known tales of the Great War, including the 1912 Army manoeuvres, the First Eastern General Hospital, refugees, war pigeons, the Death Wire and occupied Lille.
Rebecca Morgan, learning services manager at Cambridgeshire County Council, said: “The exhibition aims to bring the history and experiences of the conflict up close to people across Cambridgeshire.
“This exhibition is just the first of a number local events and initiatives to commemorate the Great War centenary,” she said.
