The Importance of Being Earnest is the autumn production from the award-winning Viva Theatre Company and will take place in Soham on the evenings of 13-15 October. The Oscar Wilde classic will be performed at The Brook on Brook Street, Soham.
Set in late Victorian England in 1895, the play satirises Victorian society and is Wilde’s most enduring work. The popular story of deception and mistaken identity has been made into star-studded films numerous times and the farcical comedy is expected to be a sell-out.
