USA soul singer Freddie Hall and keyboard player Duncan Maletka will perform at the Townhouse in Ely on Sunday, as part of the pub’s season of Lazy Sunday Afternoon shows.

Hailing from New York, but now residing in England, Freddie Hall is a singer/songwriter, guitar player and professional musician who sings jazz, blues, and soul. . He has sung with many well known musicians, including The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight.

Freddie enjoys singing jazz standards, blues, motown and soul, with his music style influenced by the likes of Nat King Cole, The Temptations, Ray Charles and Van Morrison.

The show starts at 3pm and admission is free. Supporting DJ Davey Wiz will be playing well known motown and northern soul classic hits to set the theme for an afternoon of soul.
