THE Mayor of Wisbech was one of many guests who attended the opening of a month-long art exhibition celebrating this year’s Rose Fair.
The Arts and Flowers Exhibition, run by Atelier East at Octavia View in South Brink, opened on Friday with a reception attended by Wisbech Mayor, Councillor Jonathan Farmer.
A number of colourful pieces feature in the exhibition from many talented artists, including Moria Lahis, Gina Matthews, Bob Ledger and Louise Stebbing.
Karen Harvey, of Atelier East, said: “Many artists have entered their work with lots of breathtaking pictures all for everyone’s enjoyment and to purchase.”
The exhibition is open until July 7 to coincide with this year’s Rose Fair, which runs from June 29-July 3. During Rose Fair weekend Octavia View will be open for the exhibition, arts and crafts stalls and the opening of a new caf.
