A festival celebrating metal music comes to Peterborough next month.
CamBlast Promotions and Anivian Promotions have joined forces to stage Chewie-Fest on May 9 at Radius in Peterborough.
The festival is a Star Wars themed, one-day metal festival which features 10 bands from all over the UK and represents everything exciting about the UK’s diverse and vibrant metal scene, with a healthy dose of homegrown talent from East Anglia.
In addition to headliners Heart Of A Coward and the strong line-up below them, Chewie-Fest offers members of UK Garrison (the leading Star Wars costuming group), clothing stalls from the official sponsor Knee Deep Clothing and traders Stay Close Clothing as well as games and collectibles from The Rift and more fun Star Wars goodies.
The lineup includes Heart Of A Coward, Carcer City, Nexilva, Shields, Create To Inspire, Wraiths, Visions, Razoreater, Dispossession and
Coloured By Numbers (Competition winner).
It is at Radius, above Solstice, on Saturday May 9. Doors open at 1pm.
